Goolwa Beach

I went with my friends Bridger and Jeff family to Goolwa beach. This is an intended cockle picking trip. I did not join the cockle picking team. Instead I took photographs. There are many cockles around at this time. Only a few are picked. This is crabbing season. We decided to have another crabbing section at Semaphore beach coming Saturday. Semaphore beach is just 15 minutes drive from my home. Channel 9 will be interview Jeff today. Hope that he will be doing fine and see him on the TV.

Walking dogs on the beach.

The cockle picking team.

Playing with boat.

Surfing and catching the wave.

Sun bathing.

This is the Goolwa town. The town is situated at the mouth of River Murray. River Murray is the most important river in Australia spanning across Queenslans, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

This is Goolwa beach. The car parks is full house despite a very hot summer day. The temperature is around 34 degree. It is only 14 degree two days ago. There is a very big temperature variation over the summer.
